A DIY 2 meter long and 4kg rocket from scratch

During the Space Race program proposed by the EPFL Rocket Team, 6 students and me built a 2 meter long and 4kg rocket from scratch. I was in charge of the electronics, the programming and the payload (the teleguided red nose). The rocket has an Arduino that controls the ignition, the parachute deployment, the sensors and the telemetry. The sensors are a barometer, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a GPS. The telemetry is sent to a ground station via a radio module. The ground station displays the data and allows the user to control the payload, which is ejected at the apogee.
